Can I make alterations to my property?
This will depend on the clauses in the legal documents signed at purchase. In flats it is usual that no changes can be made to external appearance, this will include the colour and style of the entry door and windows.
If you live in a flat your lease may stipulate how often you are required to decorate the inside of your property.
